Gather round my pupils, as I tell you the tale of our beginning.

It was the year 2146, and the world was not at all like the one you know now. There were two worlds the human world and the Otherworld; they were separated by a thin veil of glamour that the Fae kept in place.

There was a council, a council of creatures from the Otherworld. Its sole purpose was to protect the human world from theirs. For years they lived by that mission, hiding every war ever little incident from the humans. But one day it began to crumble; the council became power-hungry. They no longer believed that protecting the humans was worth it.

But I must stop myself there because it is before that moment that this tale begins. In order to tell you of our beginning I must start where it all began. With a little girl, a girl no older than you are now.

Her name was Eva Alexandra, and she lived in what was once known as California in Redwood City.

This is her story.
